August 5 – Kids Day on Old Falls Street – Niagara Falls, NY

We were back on Old Falls Street for the second time this summer, and this event was all about the kids.  There were a variety of kid-friendly activities on Old Falls Street, including a DJ, inflatables, petting zoo, performances from Buffalo Aerial Dance, and more.   Here’s a video with highlights from our

July 1-2 – Great Blue Heron Music Festival, Sherman, NY

We joined the Slyboots Circus for our third Great Blue Heron Festival this July.  The Blue Heron is takes place over 4 days on a huge campground with a main stage, dance tent, and another stage in the woods. Also in the woods is the big blue and yellow circus tent where you can find us making sure the forest stays enchanted by dazzling passersby with our circus magic.  Our friends at Slyboots are a big help to the magic making with drumming, juggling, stilting, fire dancing, and

June 23-25 Estival Festival, Caneadea, NY

Did you know that Estival isn’t just a nonsense word that rhymes with festival?  It is a REAL word that means “something that belongs to or in summer.”  So…a great name for a festival that celebrates the start of summer.  Every year, Estival brings camping, live music, shopping, food, and a kids activity area all weekend.  We joined our friends the Slyboots Circus, keep spirits high by adding some silks, and trapeze to the drumming, dancing and parading.  It did get pretty cloudy and rainy, so we had to move some of our circus antics into the big circus tent.

June 24 – Summer Solstice Party – Graycliff, Angola, NY

The summer solstice is always a joyful time in WNY, and we were lucky to celebrate it at this party!  The Graycliff Estate hosted a beautiful evening on the estate grounds, including hors d’ouvres and cocktails, music, entertainment, and tours of the Graycliff house.  The estate at Graycliff was designed to frame the solstice sun in the picture window, adding a special touch. We performed ambient aerial in the Graycliff gardens, accompanied by live music.  As it was the Solstice, we performed from daylight to dusk and a little bit beyond…                 Video of part our performance

May 27 – Old Falls Street, Niagara Falls, NY

We celebrated the start of summer on Old Falls Street with food trucks, live music, and more at the Memorial Day Weekend Street Festival.  Seeing street food, live bands, vendors, and entertainers out in the street again was super uplifting after a long winter.  It really felt like a party!  And of coure, we brought some sparkles and lit up the sky.   Video of the event: Highlight reel: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/JPfqooy1Q1k   Trapeze

Feb 24-25 Lock City Circus, Lockport, NY

This show is as classic circus as it gets!  Every year, the Kenan center arena feels just like a big top with clowns, jugglers, gymnasts, aerialists, and more!  It’s a big party, but also a relaxed one, great for families and kids, and also great for anyone who wants to see their favorite aerialists in action.  This year we performed alongside gymnasts from our studio neighbors, Flips Gymnastics, as well as clowns, stilt walkers, and fire performance. Photos coming soon Here’s a quote to ponder in the meantime: “The circus is the only fun you can buy that is good for you.”– Ernest

Feb 3 – Holimont Men’s Day, Ellicottville, NY

Everyone wants to go to Ellicottville in the winter and we were lucky enough to be there to enjoy the scenic landscape while celebrating a great cause.  We brought the aerial pizzaz with silks, lyra, and trapeze and we were joined by fellow circus folks doing some stilt walking, fire spinning, acrobatics and juggling.  There was lots of other entertainment and merriment all in the name of raising funds for an adaptive ski program. Check out some video highlights of our

Dec 31- New Year’s at Old Falls Street, Niagara Falls, USA

We rang in 2023 at Old Falls Street’s annual Family Fun New Year’s Eve party. The night was packed with entertainment and activities such as face painters, balloon artists, inflatables, DJ, photobooth, balloon drop and — your favorite high-flying aerial team!  It was wonderful to be back at the Convention Center and to have a proper NYE celebration.   Photos coming soon!

Oct 1 – Folk Faces Festival, Darien Center, NY

We graced the skies with the Slyboots circus one last time before the autumn chills set it.   We love this festival because it’s a celebration, but also lovely and relaxing.  If you want to enjoy some nature, some folk music, and some shopping, this little festival makes for a perfect afternoon.  Bonus, beautiful sunsets and a view of the rollercoasters at Darien Lake.     Photos coming soon

Sept 30 – UB Homecoming – University at Buffalo North Campus

UB hosts a gigantic homecoming party every year, and we’re delighted to have been a part of it for many years now.   There’s rides, food, bands, a bonfire, a zipline, fire spinners, and Buffalo Aerial Dance flying high in blue and white.  Several of our performers are U.B. alums, so we love coming back to our alma matter to put on a show.  Horns Up!   Photos coming
