Who doesn’t love City of Night? It’s one of Buffalo’s most unique events and right in the cradle of our city.  This year CON moved from Silo City to the Old First Ward for a different sort of historic and artsy feel. We had the vibrant Designer’s Folding Box Factory as our background, and beautiful lighting by Lemur Studios produced a gorgeous overall effect for our set.  Not to mention the fabulous aerial crew who went all out for this one, spinning, dropping, and shining through the

B.A.D. headed out to the country to celebrate the start of warmer weather!  Brant SummerFest marked our first outdoor performance of the season, and where we served up some summery silks and trapeze acts. This family-oriented event, was Father’s Day, and included a parade, car show, treats, contests and crafts.

Cirque de la Lune is sponsored by Elab at the Dnipro Ukrainian Center.  The space comes alive with a mysterious circus feel, and the B.A.D. ladies were definitely contributing to that vibe.  There were also fortune tellers, burlesque performers, slam poets, and a dance

Trimania is a massive art exhibit that takes place across all 5 floors in the Trimain building.  Artists who have their studios in the building open their doors to the public, and a variety of  musicians, dancers, DJs set up and perform their work all over the building. Our rig was under an opening in the second floor so that the crowd could watch from all sides, as well as from above on the second floor – a rare view of aerialists from

B.A.D. brought their high flying talents to the ballroom at Hotel Lafayette for the second annual Aficionado event. We entertained the crowd of local networkers and vendors with the help of Nelson Rivera and some great Buffalo musicians.

Erica and Larris performed silks and trapeze at the Imperial Court’s 1st annual Masquerade Ball alongside many other talented performers including Michelle Joy, ModDance, Hell’s Harlots, and some fabulous local drag queens.  The event was held downtown at the historic Hamlin

Despite late September chills, Erica and Anastasia set up the rig on Main Street and each did sets on trapeze and silks to celebrate the opening of Buffalo’s 2014-2015 Theater Season.  It was great to be a part of all the action

Anything Steampunk is bound to be an enjoyable gig, so we were excited when this one came our way.  We travelled from Buffalo out to the vineyards of Medina to enjoy costumes galore, and that famous Steampunk Cider.  

Ahhh, the sweet sounds of summer!  We had a great time performing alongside the music of Sol y Sambra in the heart of the Elmwood Village, Bidwell Park.
