Open Gym

 Open gyms are supervised practice for aerial students that have completed intro classes. We offer open gyms at our Lockport location throughout the week.

Schedule

  • Full open gym– 12 spots to use any of our aerial points
    • Sundays 1:45p-3:15p
    • Tuesdays 7:00p-8:30p
  • Fabrics open gym (side 2)– 8 spots to use our fabric points (silks & rope) there are two pulley points for limited metals (lyra/trapeze) use
    • Mondays 7:00p-8:00p
  • Metals open gym (side 1)– 4 pulley points and 4 trapeze points
    • Saturdays 11:00a-12:30p

Prices

$12 for single open gym pass
$60 for 6 open gym passes (60 day expiration)
FREE for all monthly membership holders (adult and youth)

Open Gym Rules

  • Please practice only on apparatus that you have taken classes on
  • Please be respectful of the classes or other events happening within the studio
  • Do not teach moves to other students during open gym. This voids our insurance
  • Students under 16 years old MUST have an adult with them during open gym

Tips for open gym

  • Please warm up before you start your training. A 10-15 minute all body warm up will get your muscles ready for aerial practice.
  • Use our resources! Did you know we have a basket of aerial books/cards in the studio free for you to use. The basket is under the mirrors by the large cabinet. Please make sure to return the materials when your finished.
  • Work on the fun skills and the hard skills. Have a nice balance of exploring the fun skills and working on those pesky drills your coach probably gave you in class.
